Mythic coil. Already digging. Your bronze bar has barely moved. You know the ending. Standing there for forty more seconds to watch them stand up first is not bravery. It is stubbornness with a progress bar.

Walk away. The field will not write you a medal for losing politely.

The skill nobody advertises

Guides love to talk about radius and dig time. The quiet skill is leaving. Sweep past a fight you cannot win. Start the empty beep two tiles over. Let the mythic hunter take their spoon while you take three uncontested commons and actually fill the bag.

New hunters contest everything. They burn the free evening on crater tourism. The ones who last treat the map like a permission, not a duel queue. You came to dig. Dig where you can finish.

It still feels like detecting

Walking away is not soft. Real detecting is full of other people on the same ground, and the adults leave holes they cannot work. FieldHunters copied that rudeness on purpose. First to finish is the rule. Choosing not to start is how you stay in the game long enough for a chest to be yours someday.

Tomorrow the mythic might be elsewhere. Tonight, take the open grass.
