FIELD NOTES

Below the floor

16 July 2026

You opened a chest. The wallet shows bitcoin. It is not enough to leave yet. The floor is printed on the page — ten dollars at the rate of the moment — and underneath it the balance just… sits. No drama. No fake 'processing'. Waiting.

People hate that sentence. They want the game to ship every sat as a victory lap. We will not. Rails cost. Checks cost. Dust payouts are how a real-money game becomes a customer-support job wearing a detector hat.

What the floor protects

It protects you from a withdrawal that is mostly fees and apology emails. It protects us from turning Treasures into a faucet. It keeps the promise narrow: when bitcoin leaves FieldHunters, it leaves to a normal address (bc1…), after identity, as a payment worth sending.

Coins still do not cash out. Shop spend still does not top up Treasures. The floor only applies to the purse that is allowed to go home. Mixing that up is how hunters get furious at a rule that was always on the wallet screen.

How you get over it

You dig. Another chest, when it comes, stacks on the same line. Or you wait. The number is still yours. It did not expire because it was small. It is simply not leaving until it clears the floor.

That is a boring kind of legitimacy. We prefer it to a flashy kind that cannot pay.
