About vessels, lamps and crucibles

Vessels tell you how people ate, prayed and worked. Chalices were made for ritual and are often silver; oil lamps lit homes and temples for centuries; crucibles held molten metal in a smith's workshop. Fragments are far more common than whole pieces, and even a rim or a handle can say who used it and when.
