About tools, weapons and everyday metalwork

Axe heads, blade tips, keys, buckles and ingots are the working metal of the past. Weapons and tools were valuable enough to be repaired and reused, so a fine example is a real find. Ingots were metal kept in its most tradeable form, ready to be cast into something else — wealth before it became an object.
